At Socially Awkward Studio, we combine professional-grade recording facilities with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Ideal for writers and co-creators seeking a focused, neutral environment, we offer amps, guitars, bass, drums, and a Nord Stage 4 to support the creative process. Upon request, you can also record demos of your work, making it the perfect space to develop and capture your ideas...
Rehearsal
We offer fully soundproofed studios equipped to accommodate six-piece bands, complete with a PA system, microphones, cables, and amplifiers—available on-site to eliminate the need for heavy gear. Our house drum kit is included, with additional instruments available for rent.
Recording
Join our professionally treated studio, equipped to record up to 10 analog inputs simultaneously across a main room, drum cove, and isolation booth, with skilled engineering support available to help you realize your creative vision. Our recording capabilities will continue to expand.

Owned by seasoned drummer and Belmont music business alumnus Robert "RJ" McGaw, who brings a decade of live and studio experience and five years rooted in Nashville, our studio offers artists a professional recording environment combined with a welcoming, creative atmosphere to fully realize their musical vision.
